About Kay's Designs

Karen (aka Kay) has been creating and designing webpages since 1998. She has created web pages for local businesses, organizations and charity events. See "Portfolio" for a few sample pictures of some web projects she has been working on and maintaining.

Karen has several years of web design experience, including the creation of database driven web sites, php programming, some flash, media and advertising, and more. Recently, she worked with a local business to build their web presence online through various product web sites including Wrist Rite Golf Tool, a fishing web site, and their corporate website. She also assists in overseeing the marketing and advertising for the products along with SEO work to get these web sites to top rankings in the search engines.

Why hire a Small Business Web Designer?

The main reason: Save Money!
Since there is no middle man, no web design firm CEO or project manager to pay, no corporate building or overhead to pay, your costs are essentially lower. That's just smart financing.

Personalized
Unlike larger web design firms with "Sales Reps" who act as the middleman, your able to work directly with the web designer to share your vision and get the results your looking for. There is usually only one person for the work to go through, essentially yielding quicker results.

Flexibility
A small business web designer is much easier to reach when you need results to happen fast. Whether it be a quick update, a question, or a change, your more likely to get responses quicker. As many small business web designers operate out-of-home, there is generally no 9-5 mentality. We could be working on your project at midnight or 3 am and with today's technology we're just a call, email, IM or text message away.

Passion
Just like any designer or artist, most web designers are passionate about the work they do and we love seeing the end results just as much as our client does. We want to be as pleased as our clients. We want your business and for you to pass the word on. Our satisfaction is knowing that our hard work satisfies our clients.
